Air Jordan 14 was released in 1998. These were the last Air Jordan shoes that Michael Jordan would wear in the NBA before his retirement. January 13, 1999 is when Michael Jordan announced his retirement from the NBA for the second time. The Air Jordan 14 were the first models to feature laces with metal tips. The shoes featured a total of 14 Jumpman logos on both shoes.
